Anderson, Joseph

Joe Anderson grew up on a small family farm in West Charlton, NY. There, with the help of his family, he began his entrepreneurial career at the age of twelve when he took over the vegetable portion of the farm. From one small roadside stand he grew the business to encompass three retail locations and a variety of wholesale outlets, including restaurants and other major retailers.

Since graduating from Cornell, Joe has turned the vegetable business over to the family to begin a career with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. There he specializes in business continuation and risk management as well as working with families who have children with special needs.

Joe has also been involved with NorthEast Biogas in the capacity of business and technology development. NorthEast Biogas is an alternative energy company which specializes in anaerobic digestion and is based in Delmar, NY.

Joe currently resides in West Charlton, NY where he enjoys helping out his family on the farm as well as being actively involved in the community.
