Mr. Forsythe is the President and CEO of Globe Composite Solutions, Ltd., a privately-held manufacturer of high-performance composite components.  The company provides unique material formulation, product design and manufacturing services to military, commercial and industrial customers.  In 2007, the company was recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America over the past five years.
 
Mr. Forsythe has held numerous executive positions at both private and public companies including: Advanta Mortgage Company; Home Savings/H.F. Ahmanson; Bank One, Michigan National Bank and Comerica Bank.  Mr. Forsythe began his career at Ford Motor Company, where he was on the finance staff for North American Automotive Operations. Mr. Forsythe is on the board of Share Plus Bank, a Texas financial institution where he is a member of its Executive Committee and Chairman of the Credit Policy Committee.  He is also a former Board member of the Dallas Lyric Opera, Dallas Opera, SMU Cox Graduate School of Business Advisory Board, Cambridge School of Dallas, Mercy High School of Detroit, MI, and Welsh Hills School in Granville, OH.

Carl holds a BA degree (biochemistry) from Columbia University and an MBA (finance) from Cornell University.  Mr. Forsythe resides in Hingham MA with his wife, Sandy and they have three children in college: Chip (CalPoly ‘09), Emily (Cornell University ‘09) and AJ (CalPoly ‘10).
