Biography

Matthew L. Witte has been a Director of Marwit Capital since 1984. In 1994, Mr. Witte became a full Partner of the firm and has been responsible for managing all aspects of its business over the past decade. In 2000, in connection with the firm's investment in Paciolan, Inc., an enterprise software company headquartered in Irvine, California, Mr. Witte also assumed an interim operating role as Executive Vice President – Finance and Business Development. In 2001, he again took on an interim role as CEO of IndX Software and ran that company until its acquisition by Siemens AG in 2003.

He has been past President of the Western Association of SBICs and a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Association of SBICs. He was previously a General Partner of the Related Companies, a New York based investment firm, and with Grosvenor International Holdings, the overseas investment arm of the Grosvenor Estate of London.

Mr. Witte is a graduate of Cornell University.
