Jenny Lee is a Partner at GGV Capital and is responsible for GGV's China investments and operations. Jenny focuses on the Software/Business Services and Internet/Digital Media sectors. She is on the Board of business services companies hiSoft (NASDAQ: HSFT), China Talent Group (CTG) and 21Vianet and gaming companies Duowan and Arcas Entertainment.
Prior to GGV, Jenny was a Vice President at JAFCO Asia and led JAFCO's investments in technology companies in China and HK, including Pollex Mobile (acq. by MediaTek), hiSoft, APM and BCD. Jenny was instrumental in helping the portfolio companies strengthen their management team as well as in strategy formulation and market expansion outside China.
Jenny was also an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and prior to that, held various engineering and operating positions at Singapore Technologies Aerospace in Singapore.
Jenny holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and graduated with a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering also from Cornell University. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys golf, outdoor water sports and hanging out with entrepreneurs.
