Biography

Andrew Verhalen joined Matrix Partners in 1992. From 1986 through 1991 he served as a divisional vice president at 3Com Corporation. There he started and grew a division responsible for network adapters and hubs to more than $250 million in sales. From 1981 to 1986 he worked in the Microprocessor Group at Intel Corporation in a variety of marketing management and strategic planning roles.

He also helped start and led Matrix's investment in Grand Junction Networks, now a major division of Cisco Systems.

Education

Mr. Verhalen earned MBA, MS and BS degrees, all from Cornell University.
