Biography

Brian has nearly 15 years of experience in both the financial services and consulting industries. For the past eleven years, Brian has served as the Director of US Fund Investments and Co-Investments for a UK-based alternative investment company. During this period, Brian was solely responsible for sourcing, diligencing, and managing GP commitments and relationships. Additionally, Brian identified and executed co-investments in parallel with the GPs. Fund-of-Funds management has included portfolio rationalization and re-balancing through the secondary market.

Prior to joining Pinecrest Capital Partners, Brian spent nearly three years with Ernst and Young's Management Consulting group. Among his engagements, Brian was managed all divestiture-related activities of an $8 Billion division of a Fortune 25 company completing a corporate carve-out, managed the current state assessment of 3,500 person administrative support division of major international services firm, and managed a sourcing/supplier analysis for health care client consolidating greater than 30 purchasing organizations from 37 separate facilities and greater than $500 million in annual procurement.

Brian has overseen manager selection in both the VC and PE industries, and has directly invested in IT, consumer, and healthcare companies. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors and fund advisory committees.

Education

Brian received his BA in History from Middlebury College. He also holds an MBA from the Cornell University SC Johnson Graduate School of Management
