Background

Mr. Lewis Michael Eisenberg is a Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Granite Capital International Group. Mr. Eisenberg joined Granite Capital International on February 19, 2009. He also serves as a Senior Advisor at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. He spent nearly a quarter of a century at Goldman Sachs & Company where Mr. Eisenberg was a General Partner and Co-Head of the equity division. In addition to co-Founding Granite Capital International Group, L.P., he co-Founded Granum Communications where Mr. Eisenberg also served on the Board.

Education

Mr. Eisenberg received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

Board Affiliations

He serves as an Emeritus Member of the Advisory Council of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Until 2007, he served on the Board of ITC Holdings Corp. Mr. Eisenberg also served as a Board Member of St. Barnabas Health Care System and was the Chairman of its Investment Committee. He is an Honorary Trustee at Monmouth Medical Center Foundation, and served as Board Member and Treasurer for New York Service for the Handicapped. Mr. Eisenberg served as the Chairman of Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
