Let’s face it – getting a summer internship can be a nerve-wracking experience. Obviously, there are many companies that recruit on campus and many job fairs on campus affiliated with our various Cornell schools and colleges. Entrepreneurship at Cornell has helped reduce “internship stress” with its own summer internship program specifically targeted to smaller companies that do not otherwise recruit on campus. We are fortunate to place 30-50 interns each summer.

Additionally, the Kessler Fellows program allows a small group of students to create funded internships at companies that they seek out. This is a unique offering, and we are proud that the College of Engineering started it and now has branched it out to students from across the university interested in STEM.
