Dr. Leonard M. Harlan is the Chairman of Executive Committee at Castle Harlan, Inc. Mr. Harlan also co-founded the firm. He manages the Castle Harlan Partners V, L.P. fund and is a Member of Executive Committee at Castle Harlan Australian Mezzanine Partners and CHAMP Private Equity. Dr. Harlan is the Member of Review Board at LFE Capital Fund I, L.P and LFE Capital Fund II, L.P. He was the President at Castle Harlan and co-founded the firm in 1987. Dr. Harlan began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1965, where he was the Vice President and stockholder. From 1969 to 1995, Dr. Harlan was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at The Harlan Company.

Dr. Harlan holds a Masters degree, with distinction, and a Doctorate from the Harvard Business School. He also holds an M.E. and an M.B.A. Dr. Harlan also received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Cornell University.
