Background

Mr. Ronnie Jaber is a Principal and Portfolio Manager in Global Market Strategies.  Mr. Jaber is responsible for investing and trading structured, cash, synthetic, and esoteric credit products, and for shaping internal market/macro strategy.  He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, he ran the synthetic structured loan business at Morgan Stanley globally. Mr. Jaber was responsible for the structuring and trading of bespoke synthetic tranches, proprietary trading positions, LCDX index tranche trading, and risk-managing the largest non-dealer loan credit-default swap book. Prior to that, he was at Banc of America Securities, where Mr. Jaber was responsible for high-yield structured credit trading. Mr. Jaber also worked on the proprietary trading desk at Banc of America Securities.
