Background

Ms. Gisele S. Everett is a Director and Head of Private Equity Investments at DB Climate Change Advisors. She is located in the New York office and joined the firm in 2009. Ms. Everett is also a Partner and Member of Investment Committee of the DB Masdar Clean Tech Fund, L.P. She has over 11 years of private equity investing experience in various industries including clean technologies. Prior to DB Climate Change Advisors, Ms. Everett was a Director and a Founding Partner of Sustainable Development Investments for two years. During her tenure at SDI, she invested in, and held directorships on the Boards of various companies in the water, waste, renewable energy, and recycling sectors. Ms. Everett also serves as a Director of Hispanic Teleservices Corporation, HydroPoint Data Systems, Inc., and of another SDI-funded company active in the water industry. Previously, she was a Vice President and Principal for nine years at Citigroup Venture Capital International (CVCI). Ms. Everett joined Citi in 1998. She was a private equity investor at the firm for over nine years and completed private equity investments and divestitures in the electrical utilities, media, packaging, business services, technology, and distribution industries in Latin America and the Hispanic market in the United States. Prior to her private equity experience, Ms. Everett started her career in various investment banking roles with Société Genérale, J.P. Morgan, and West Merchant Bank.

Ms. Everett received an M.B.A. with distinction, from Johnson, and a B.B.A., with a major in Finance, from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil.
