Jonathan Holtz Headshot

Jonathan J. Holtz is Chairman and CEO of Win-Holt Equipment Group, (www.winholt.com) a national manufacturer of non-powered material/food handling and food service equipment, supplying supermarkets, food service, health care, home centers and mass retailing industry, both domestically and internationally.  Jon joined Win-Holt as its marketing Vice President in 1978, was promoted to Executive Vice President in 1984, President in 1985 and was named Chairman and CEO in 2002.

His civic and professional interests include service to the New York Weill Cornell Hospital Medical Advisory Board.  He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and a graduate of the President’s Program in Leadership from the Harvard University School of Business.  He was named one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1984 and was a finalist in the 1993 and 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program sponsored by INC Magazine and Ernst & Young.

Jon serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Syracuse University since 1997.  He is a member of the Chancellor’s Council and supporter of the Whitman School of Management.  He led fund-raising efforts for the Dean Richard Oliker Recognition Fund and established the Holtz Marketing Award and the School of Management’s Alumnus of the Year Award.  He has endowed a Professorship in Global Entrepreneurship and serves on the Whitman School of Management Corporate Advisory Council.  Jon is a member of the Metropolitan New York Advisory Council, the Cornell University Parents Committee and the Cornell Entrepreneurship Advisory Council.

He and wife Susan are the parents of Stephanie, a graduate of Syracuse University working in New York City and William, a sophomore at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
