Beyond Cornell’s campus, upstate NY is a fertile ground for startup activity. Cornell has an office, named the Center for Regional Advancement, that is dedicated to helping advance upstate NY’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Entrepreneurship at Cornell and CREA work together to form a seamless transition opportunity for students who decide to stay in Ithaca after graduation and pursue their startups. Talent is rich in supply and the cost of living is relatively low – we just love it when startups form at Cornell and then stay in Ithaca!

The regional upstate NY startup ecosystem is rich in programs aimed specifically at advancing young companies. Please check out the resources and ask us for guidance navigating them!
