Diversity in ClimateTech is on a mission to recruit, educate, inspire, and support capitalization in BIPOC and women founders developing startups with climate tech innovations

Women and BIPOC entrepreneurs face more challenges scaling their startups including less access to, and attention from, investors. Additionally, climate tech and cleantech innovations typically face slower adoption rates among their customer markets and it can be extra challenging to find funding while experiencing slower revenue growth.

NYSERDA, Cornell, and Chloe Capital launched Diversity in ClimateTech to help diverse startups address these extraordinary challenges in climate tech. Climate tech innovations include solutions that increase resource efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, support the decarbonization of the economy, and broadly reduce energy consumption.
