Rev supports every kind of startup, across all fields and we are proud to offer a collection of programs and services specifically aimed at helping hardware and physical product startups launch and grow.

Prototyping Hardware Accelerator

Rev’s Prototyping Accelerators guide innovators as they turn their idea for physical products into working prototypes, start their business plans, and confirm their customer markets. The summer program offers specialized mentorship and training to founders based on their field of interest. New this year, the MedTech track is offered in partnership with Cornell Biomedical Engineering and Weill Cornell Medicine.

Protofacturing Hardware Accelerator

The Rev Protofacturing Accelerator is open to anyone with a proof-of-concept prototype looking to refine their design to an engineering prototype and begin discussions with manufacturers. Teams do not need to have legally formed an entity but should have plans to do so during the accelerator. To be admitted, teams must have an initial prototype developed that proves the feasibility of their concept, and have conducted customer discovery. Both students and professionals are welcome to join the accelerator; there are no location requirements as all content is delivered virtually.

Manufacturing Hardware Accelerator

The Manufacturing Accelerator, offered in partnership with the College of Engineering at Cornell University, is a cohort-based program that supports hardware startups ready to bring their prototypes into production. Entrepreneurs benefit from programming, significant manufacturing expertise and advice, business mentorship, access to local manufacturers, and introductions to investors to help them advance from the prototype stage and bring their products to market.
